Today is Developmental Language Disorder Awareness Day.  While we have a couple of pupils in Nendrum with the condition, it remains largely undiagnosed but is thought to affect around 2 pupils in every 30!

One of our pupils was the “star” of a DLD awareness event, during which a video filmed here in Nendrum was played to the audience. He is doing great work to help raise awareness for the disorder!

Developmental language disorder (DLD) is a communication disorder that interferes with learning, understanding, and using language.
